Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children, four come from her father's previous marriage. After living with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years and then moving to Victoria. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was a very difficult experience. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was ordered to move schools. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. Then she dropped out of the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actor. The opportunity was offered to her opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her a job as a model.
