Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of 5 she moved from Morocco to California. Her first break into acting in 2015. That same year, she graduated from the University of California San Diego. Pernas had a few appearances in NCIS and Leverage however she was able to land the role as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. In the wake of her departure from soap opera Jane the Virgin in 2016, the actress was cast in the role of Catalina as a character who appeared on the show regularly. She speaks four languages. She's since been seen in The Brave with Hannah Rivera in addition to The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. On Blood & Treasure, from the year 2019 to 2020 she played Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas had a relationship with Justin Hartley who was her co-star for The Young and the Restless. The couple began dating shortly after Hartley's This Is Us star split from her spouse Chrishell Stause November 2019. Pernas Hartley was recently married at a private wedding according to reports from May 2020.
