Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She came to California when she was five. She grew up primarily living in Orange County. After making small appearances on NCIS and Leverage Pernas got the part as Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap, the actress landed a role as Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The model, who is proficient in four languages has appeared since in The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also played in the Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Pernas was the character Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly confirmed that Pernas and Justin Hartley were dating in May of 2020. This romance began after Chrishell Stause and This Is Us actress split in November 2018. Pernas Hartley was married privately with Pernas in the month of May 2021.
