Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is an actress and model hailing from the United States of America. After a brief stint as a model for fashion, she quickly transitioned to acting when she appeared as a guest on television shows like Boy Meets World in the 1990s and High Incident. In 1997 she made her acting debut acting in a movie with Nowhere. Her performance were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more public attention. She has since appeared on screen in Loser (2000) together with American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and was later the main role in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). Her appearances were in the 2002 independent drama Spun and the 2004 horror feature Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The drama aired on the air in 2004. In 2008 she appeared in a series of movies which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the movie adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is a model for Lancome cosmetics, as well as printed ads to promote Lancome Paris Adaptive also has appeared in numerous fashion-related blogs as well as magazines like Vogue. She has long been a supporter and a defender of the highly regarded African relief group, the African Medical and Research Foundation.
