Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was in her teens working in Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. She began her career on screen in the web-series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer's on-screen career began in 2010 when she appeared in the first episode of Simon Fuller's Hulu TV series If I Can Dream. The show centers around an ensemble of actors who move into an Hollywood California house.
