Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a mixed family. Her mother and father were both English. Her family was on the southern part of London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared in many stage productions during her college days, such as the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. The actress has been a guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured in six episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi character on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on the series 2 and 3. Madekwe appeared in the comedic How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). Her stage credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes, but it was removed from the air. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series was cast as Ashley Davenport. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons, it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would quit the show following a guest appearance in the pilot episode in the season's third. From 2014 to 2016she appeared in Salem in the role of Tituba. In June 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend, actor Iddo Goldberg. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was born into a large family living in Hamilton, Ontario. The four brothers she had were also in the family including twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's athletic brothers were avid baseball players during the summer months and hockey during winters. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and at age 2 1/2 years old she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. This was the beginning of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley participated in the top divisions for jazz, tap hip hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre as well as pointe until the time she completed from high school. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
